Your Swimsuit Needs to Rest!

Many of you are gearing up for this summer's vacation with lots of planning, shopping, and working.  In the bustle, don't neglect your swimwear from lack of thought or in the interest of saving money.

Be sure to take along at least two swimsuits, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time wearing them.  Since Spandex™ and other stretchy fabrics like Lycra have a "memory", they need to rest between uses.  You should let it rest at least 24 hours after each use and cleaning so that the fibers can return to its natural shape.  If you do not, you run the risk of leaving your swimwear stretched out and misshapen.  Even though you love wearing it every day, not letting it rest will shorten the life of your favorite swimsuit.

Don't sacrifice your favorite look in order to care for your swimwear properly.  You have a few options to look your best and care properly for your swimsuits.  If you like one particular style and color, you can buy two identical swimsuits to alternate so they will last much longer and give you pleasure for longer than just a season or two.  You can also buy different colors of your favorite bikini.  Or, if you really like variety, buy totally different bathing suits so that you have a completely different look every day.  Whatever your preference, you will not regret your choice.  In the end, you will save money by keeping your favorite swimsuit beautiful longer.

Lifestyles Direct Tan Through Swimwear can help you with your swimwear needs by providing you with beautiful, quality swimwear.  Choose from our full line of one piece women's swimsuits, tan through bikinis, and men's racers and bike shorts.  Don't forget your coverups!
